Anna Maria Fritz

After completing my high school diploma in 2009 at Robert Schumann Gymnasium in Saarlouis, I began my training as a registered nurse at Knappschaftsklinikum in Sulzbach Saar. I successfully graduated in 2012 and have since been working as a registered nurse in the Anesthesia and Intensive Care unit at Caritas Klinikum Saarbrücken.

In the winter semester of 2018/2019, I embarked on my medical studies at the University of Saarland, continuing my journey in the healthcare field with a focus on advancing my expertise in medicine. I am now pursuing a scientific research project within our group, focusing on the correlative analysis of DNA methylation patterns and protein expression in a cohort of glioma patients, including cases of oligodendroglioma, astrocytoma, high-grade astrocytoma, and glioblastoma. This project aims to deepen our understanding of glioma biology and its clinical implications.
